Wayne\u00a0Huang\u00a0was\u00a0humbled\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>privileged\u00a0to<\/span>be\u00a0<\/span>electedas\u00a0Rear\u00a0Commodore (Power Boat ) of the Bucklands Beach Yacht Club atits AGM on Tuesday 23 July 2019.\u00a0 It is the first time for\u00a0the\u00a0BBYC to have\u00a0an\u00a0Asian\u00a0migrant\u00a0on\u00a0its\u00a0Management\u00a0Board as<\/span><\/p>\n

a Rear Commodore Power in its 70 years history. It is reflects\u00a0<\/span><\/section>\n
\u00a0<\/span>BBYC’s openness, inclusiveness,\u00a0and commitment to connect to the local community. Located in Half Moon Bay, BBYC is a\u00a0greatfamily yacht club\u00a0and the second largest yacht club\u00a0in NewZealand.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0It offers a wide range of activities both on and off\u00a0the water, including\u00a0an extensive range of training courses conducted by the talented team of fully-qualified instructors\u00a0at their Sailing Academy.\u00a0 There is regular Keelboat and Centreboard racing, haul out\u00a0facilities, fishing and power events, family cruising and social activity inthe Club house.<\/span><\/section>\n

Wayne\u00a0has extensive governance, practical\u00a0 \u00a0business experience and network\u00a0locally and intentionally.\u00a0 \u00a0He has been running his own education\u00a0training school and\u00a0 living Pakuranga in last 21\u00a0 years after graduation from the University of Auckland with Masters of Commerce in\u00a0Economics , and has his own power boat at the Half Moon Bay\u00a0marina.
